Issue Troubleshooting

Issue:
When starting Lotus Notes after previously being shutdown, it won't start. It get's stuck or stays for a really long time on the "Starting Lotus Notes" dialog with the blue progress bar (that doesn't really do anything anyway.) Doing a Force Quit shut's it down, but starting it again most likely results in the same "hung" condition.

Solution:
1. With Notes shutdown, throw away the entire Expeditor folder in:
Users/<User>/Library/Application Support/Lotus Notes Data
2. Empty Trash.
3. Start Lotus Notes from the Dock or within Applications folder as normal.

Note:
If you have sidebar apps that use accounts (we do for various widgets), they will be forgotten and they will prompt for the authentication again as if the account did not exist in the local Contacts app. So will some default font preferences, etc.

If this is a stuck PC, then dump the folder: ../Lotus/Notes/data/workspace.
