Author Abby Black is a writer and illustrator who resides in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Home educated from the second grade, she's always filled her sketchbooks with doodles and notes of the storylines playing out in her vivid imagination. At the age of eight, she inked her first unpublished book series. Later in her early teens, she directed her focus on developing The Antediluvians series. Several of her short story and poetic writings have been published in the NC State University Teen Writer's Workshop Anthology. Abby has also won numerous contests and has received accolades for her artwork; including the first place prize in graphic design in her age group at the North Carolina State Fair.
